So you have made an investing in a company on the Equivesto portal, Congratulations! This video explains what happens to you as an investor if the campaign of the company you invested in is successful or not.

Hi, I’m Riley from Equivesto. Here’s what to expect after you invest. 

There are really only two results: The good news and the bad news.  The good news is along the lines of – “Congratulations! The company you have chosen to invest in, has reached its minimum capital raise amount!” Now what? Well, this means that you’re now an official investor in your company! Soon after, the company will be reviewing and signing their own documents, filings with the government, and receiving their crowdfunded funds.  Now, it’s their turn to go off and achieve all these goals and dreams that they said they would! In the appropriate time frame for successfully achieving their goals, they then have the choice to send your potential payout through Equivesto or through their own means which they will discuss with you.  

The other result is, of course, the bad news.  This will be something along the lines of - - “Uh oh, the company you chose didn’t reach its minimum amount.”  Now what? Well, if the company doesn’t reach its minimum raise amount goal, within the next 10-15 days, your total investment in this company will be refunded straight back to you - - directly into the account that it came from.  This company may, of course, choose to raise again in the future but for now their campaign is over.  

And now, our time has come to an end.  You now have a great understanding of what it takes to participate in equity crowdfunding on Equivesto.
